This website is about my international travels and the photographs that I’ve taken on these trips.
My name is Martina Mc Auley. I’m Irish, originally from Kilkenny and live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I started my travels in 1996 and love traveling with my heart and soul, with all its “ups and downs”. Writing travel blogs, is for me a way to put into words, my passion for traveling and to be able to convey that to my readers, so that they want to go there too.
I have a huge passion for New Zealand, with a special interest in the Maori culture. In November 2010, I had an article published in The Holland Times newspaper about the Mana Maori Exhibition, which was held at the Volkenkunde Museum, Leiden, Netherlands. My New Zealand blog was also accepted on the official New Zealand Tourism website in January 2010.
I have a huge interest in Irish music/dancing and play the concertina. Brought up in a musical family, I was the dancer in the group. So music, dance, art, theatre and culture still play a strong role in my life. Photography is also a skill that I’m developing. I love to capture scenes/moments that really show the power of nature. I blog about my travels abroad and use my own photos to highlight every trip.
